The Boathouse Bath BA1 3NB

Had a wonderful overnight stay here with my partner and our dogs before travelling onto Brecon Beacons. It was a pleasure from start to finish, best thing apart from location, dog friendly, good food was the staff, they were all first class and even when exceptionally unexpectedly busy, sudden hot spell, they gave first class and attentive service, sadly a rare thing nowadays. Will definitely be back to explore Bath further and will stay here even if we don't bring the dogs next time. Can't recommend enough and booked direct and got 10% off.

The team took amazing care of me. I loved everything my room was stunning and the food in the restaurant was on point. Scott and his team where amazing. I had every meal in the bar and the views are stunning. I cant wait to return, thank you fantastic place.

Absolutely amazing place!!! The setting is stunning, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and, more importantly, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. We spent an afternoon in one of the lovely rooms in the bar playing cards, having a laugh and feeling at home. We would recommend The Boathouse to anyone and we will definitely be going back!!

A lovely setting, a short walk away, along the towpath, from the caravan park where we were staying for 6 nights. We had 2 meals - Sunday lunch and an evening meal on our last night- both were great, friendly staff and excellent service. My hubby was on a course so I went 3 times in the morning for their lovely coffee and cake- sitting in the sun on their veranda and read my book- very nice. Super friendly efficient staff and service. Lovely food. What’s not to like

Went here for a family friendly pub Sunday lunch with a great setting, and it was exactly that. Very easy to book online. Excellent service friendly and courteous as soon as we arrived. We all had a wonderful Sunday lunch definitely worth a return visit.

Order by phone from your table worked well. Food was decent. Weather was lovely (not really to do with the pub but there you go).

We came to the boathouse for a meal on Tuesday evening for a birthday celebration. The team were lovely. The two ladies who served us were so friendly and efficient. The food was suitable for pub grub. There was a range of options for everyone including vegetarians. The serving size was just right. I appreciated tap water being brought to the table and topped up without even asking. It was a busy night but we weren't forgotten and served in a timely way too. The price was very reasonable. Thank you

Delicious lunch in the conservatory with great service! Kaci was really attentive and it was a very relaxing time for our family to get together. The menu is great and the food really well presented - the only tricky bit was deciding what to have! We loved the ambience of the place, the outlook and the lighting, and Ernie our black lab was really chilled too! We look forward to coming back when we are next in Bath.
